Suppressor Anti-Mirage Shield
Protects you, your can, and your equipment.
**DO NOT SUBMIT MEASUREMENTS FROM A WEBSITE. PHYSICALLY MEASURE AND CONFIRM WITH THE SUPPRESSOR THAT WILL BE COVERED.**
Designed to prevent mirage from obscuring your site picture after multiple shots. Eliminating mirage is accomplished by the use of insulating materials - your can heats up, but the SAS stays cool. The outer shell of the TAB SAS will not heat up so your equipment and person will not become damaged with accidental or intentional contact. Removal and handling of your can, while inside the TAB SAS, immediately after firing is possible due to the high quality insulating materials used in the construction.
**OVERSIZED COVERS THAT MEASURE GREATER THAN 1.75" DIAMETER OR 10" IN LENGTH ARE SUBJECT TO AN ADDITIONAL FEE**
NOTE: ALL SAS COVERS ARE CUSTOM MADE TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS AND CANNOT BE RESOLD OR MODIFIED. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT THE CORRECT MEASUREMENTS FOR YOUR COVER.

COMPARISON
SAS1: This model opens down the length of the suppressor and is held closed with a strip of Velcro. The cover must be installed with the label to the rear, toward the shooter.
SAS2: A fully enclosed tube of protective material, with shock cord sewn into each end. The shock cord makes this cover a little more difficult to install and remove but this model was designed for this purpose. The advantage is that there is no right or wrong way to install this cover, simply put it on and go. This model was designed for the person who may be stalking and doesn't want the cover to slide back onto the barrel exposing the metal can to making noise should it come in contact with hard surfaces.
SAS3: A fully enclosed tube of protective material. This cover must be installed with the label to the rear, toward the shooter. This cover was designed to make a smaller more compact model than the SAS1 yet still be able to effortlessly slide the cover off of the can onto the barrel to allow the can to cool in between shot strings, as well as being very easy to install back onto the can when shooting begins again.
SASR: A fully enclosed tube of protective material. This cover can be installed with the label to the front or rear. It can be installed on the can with the can already installed on the weapon and can be slid either to the rear, or off the front of the can to allow cooling. The SASR cover can be ordered to cover only as much of the can as needed. If there is a quick release mechanism that the you want to leave exposed for quick access this can be accomplished by simply listing the length of the SASR desired when placing your order.
Note for Suppressors with Quick Connect collars:
The SAS2 will only work if measured from the front of the can to the back of any built -in mounting hardware. For the best fit, order an SASR and measure with the tape up against the mounting collar all the way to the front of the suppressor.
CUSTOM WORK ON SUPPRESSOR COVERS
The prices listed on the site are for normal configured suppressors. What this means is that the suppressor has one diameter, and one length.
If the suppressor has different diameters, or steps, along the length of the suppressor this is not a standard suppressor and will entail custom design charges. If your weapon system has less than .75” in between the rear of the suppressor and the stock, rail, etc. then our standard suppressor covers will not work, EXCEPT THE SASR, and we will need to discuss custom options with you to determine what will need to be done to make a cover for your system. There are many methods that we have used over the years to make custom suppressor covers that have specific design limitations in the way they are installed, and we are more than happy to design a cover just for you. The minimum fee on custom designed suppressor covers will be $25.00 and could go up from there depending on the complexity of the design and options that the customer wants.
